East Street showing on the left the cycle shop of Harry Saward who became the Coggeshall Fire Brigade's engineer. Harry was also a crack shot, a violin player, secretary of the Coggeshall String Band and, now and then, a children's entertainer. It may be him standing outside his shop. He died tragically young - more in the book.
