West Street looking towards Market End. On the left is the office and shop of J K King who held the Royal Warrant as Seedsmen, hence the Prince of Wales Feathers and the Royal Coat-of -Arms. Opposite and adjoining the Cricketer's is a cottage and Mr Brazier's shop where Mrs Gepp was enjoying a cup of tea before a smell of smoke alerted her to the fact that her house was on fire. An assortment of tradesman arrived to help.
