East Street with Arthur Hutley’s horse-drawn bus to Colchester. It was to be replaced by a brand-new double-decker omnibus which began service on 5th June 1914 leaving Coggeshall at 11.30am and arriving at Colchester at 12.50 returning in the late afternoon. The service was later extended to Braintree.
