Horse and motor vehicle almost side by side the one replacing the other. Behind the ladder is a tall post with a circle on the top, this is one of the first speed limits signs put up in Coggeshall in April 1914 it reads 'Max Speed 10 mph for Motor Vehicles'. Above it is the sign of the Greyhound Inn.
