A close-up showing Weinrich's fruit and vegetable shop at 25 Church Street. Owned by the Weinrich family until the late 1950's. Henry Weinrich was in the Coggeshall Fire Brigade in the early 1900's and his son Frank continued the tradition and served in the Coggeshall National Fire Service during the war. Frank was due to get married in the church when it was bombed and the ceremony was moved to St Nicholas Chapel in Little Coggeshall, the brigade were in attendance of course.
